Refund Policy

At Bloody Good Gin, we strive to ensure that you are fully satisfied with your purchase. However, if you are not completely happy with your order, please read our Refund Policy to understand how we handle returns and refunds.
1. Consumer Guarantees
Under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, we are required to ensure that the products we sell are of acceptable quality, fit for purpose, and match the description provided. If you believe that the product you received is faulty or not as described, you are entitled to a remedy (e.g., a refund, replacement, or repair).
2. Refunds and Replacements for Faulty or Damaged Goods
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or not as described, please contact us within 7 days of receiving the product to request a refund or replacement.
In order to process your claim, we may ask for the following:

A clear description of the issue with the product.

Photos of the damaged or defective item(s).

The original packaging if the product was damaged during delivery.
Once we receive your claim and confirm the fault, we will arrange either a refund or a replacement at no extra cost to you. We will process your refund using the same payment method you used for the original purchase.
3. Change of Mind (Non-Defective Products)
We do not accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind purchases, especially for alcoholic beverages, in compliance with New Zealand law. Please ensure you are happy with your purchase before completing the order.
4. Exemptions from Refunds
The following items are exempt from refunds:

Alcoholic beverages that are opened or used.

Products that have been tampered with, altered, or misused after delivery.

Any items purchased on sale or as clearance products, unless faulty or damaged.
5. How to Request a Refund or Replacement
To request a refund or replacement for a faulty or damaged product, please follow these steps:

Provide your order number, details of the product, and a description of the issue.

If applicable, send photos of the damaged or faulty item(s).

We will assess your request and respond within 3 business days with instructions on how to proceed.
6. Delivery Charges
Please note that delivery charges are non-refundable, unless the product is faulty, damaged, or not as described. If you are returning a faulty or damaged item, we will cover the cost of return shipping.
7. Change of Delivery Address
If you provide an incorrect delivery address, we cannot be held responsible for the delivery of the order. If your order is returned to us due to an incorrect address, we will contact you to arrange reshipment at your cost.
8. Refund Processing
Once your return is accepted and processed, please allow up to 5-7 business days for your refund to be processed. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used during the purchase.

We reserve the right to update or modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the Effective Date at the top will be updated. Please check this policy periodically for updates.
